Angel and Goddess card readings are a beautiful, always very personal, and spiritually fulfilling way to allow your mind, your spirit and your heart to discover inspirational, uplifting and feelings of self confidence through positive messages. The cards use the messages given to us from angelic and goddess figures to help us along the way. They will never tell you what you should or should not be doing nor will they predict the future but it is a way of finding guidance and accessing your own intuition in a world that is often too frantic for us to slow down and do just that. I also do unicorn card readings which are a simplified form of angel cards but still giving positive messages especially for younger adults. There are numerous different definitions as to what an angel actually is and it is a very personal thing as to what you believe they are and how you feel they may exist and communicate with us to help us in our daily lives. The general consensus is that, unlike spirit guides who have once been human and have chosen to return and help us, angels have generally not been human. They dwell in the fifth element of spirit and each one of us has a guardian angel to help us on our way as well as the numerous other angels for specific things (parking spaces is my favourite!)The word ‘angel’ comes from greek ‘angelos’ meaning messenger and they are not particular to any one religion, you do not have to believe in any particular version of the ‘divine’, ‘source’ or ‘god’. What is important is what you believe in and how that will help you become more in touch with your inner or higher self. Apparently there is a large increase in the numbers of angels that are around to help us at the moment. The first surge was in biblical times, a second in medieval days and the third is now. Perhaps they are around when we need them most? Angels do not have free will and cannot do their work unless we ask for their help.
